Nostalgia Overload

When I am down and needed space from the world, I just click this video and indulge with all the emotions I have all at the same time.  Whew.  I know that I have friends who are so willing to help me and have helped me through the years.  There is just something in me that I want the whole world to know that I'll be there for my friends no matter what!

This really made me sob today.  I feel their friendship over the years and I wanted to have that kind of relationship, too.

Indulge this video with me, friends.

You've Got A Friend

When you're down and troubled
and you need a helping hand
and nothing, whoa, nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
and soon I will be there
to brighten up even your darkest nights.

You just call out my name,
and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call and I'll be there, yeah, yeah,
You've got a friend.

If the sky above you should turn dark and full of clouds
and that old north wind should begin to blow,
keep your head together and call my name out loud.
Soon I will be knocking upon your door.
You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call and I'll be there.

Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend?
People can be so cold.
They'll hurt you and desert you.
Well, they'll take your soul if you let them,
oh yeah, but don't you let them.

You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call, Lord, I'll be there, yeah, yeah,
You've got a friend. You've got a friend.
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend.
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend.
Oh, yeah, yeah, you've got a friend.

Tidbits: It's a nice feeling that you've got a friend.

FAITH is ALL I HAVE

It was a bad dream.  There’s no English translation with ‘bangunot’ so I guess that’s the most fitting word to describe it.  It was actually a nightmare.

I was in my room, I slept facing the wall and in that scene, there was a dark shadow near the dresser and was looking at me.  Then, that shadow possessed me went inside me and I felt it clasped my heart and was really holding it.  I felt uneasy and somehow feeling the panic gradually.  I knew that was it.  When I can’t barely breathe, I began to pray the Lord’s Prayer.  ‘Our Father who art in Heaven...’  I could really feel the resistance and I want to give up.  Good thing I was able to finish it and I continued praying Hail Mary and  I was giving my all to feel every word of it and surrendering everything.  ‘…holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners…’ I felt the release of my heart and I was breathing again.  I continued praying until my inhalation was back to normal. I wanted to open my eyes, but I was still scared that the shadow was still there in my room or just beside me.  So, I continued praying and uttering ‘Hail Mary’ while sobbing and I fell asleep again.

I woke up because of the three alarms that were simultaneously buzzing.  I am still alive.

Thank you, Lord.  There really is a power in prayer.

As I look back with what happened in my life for the past months, I could really say, that the thing that keeps me going is my FAITH.  I trust HIM so much that I entrusted my life and I was ready to go.  I am living now because of that complete trust in HIM.  I really can’t thank HIM enough.

I feel the love and care of Mama Mary and she really took care of me.  She is really a mother.  This isn't the first time that I was saved and answered my prayers.

Whatever happens to me, I know I am wrapped in God's arms and Mama Mary's lap just hugging me and making me feel that I am saved.  Forever and ever,  Amen.
